Our philosophy

FUNCTIONAL SIMPLICITY
Clothes worn against the skin should be soft, with a minimal amount of seams and free from pricking tags. We at Lilleba value what is functional and simple.

NORWEGIAN DESIGN
The designers Silje Sivertsen and Nina Eikerol run their business in an old factory, in the centre of Stavanger. Their products combine Nordic traditions and a clear cut look with future-oriented qualities.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS
Our products acquire an additional quality. Lilleba wants to be a driving force in the safe production of clothes under conditions favourable to people as well as the environment. We put emphasis on a personal relationship with the factories supplying our products.

UNIQUE QUALITIES
Our textiles keep the skin nice and dry, which is an advantage to children suffering from atopic eczema. As for soy, besides being soft as cashmere, it is a vegetable protein fiber with qualities similar to those of wool. It is also UV protective 50+ (tested in accordance with EN 13758-1). The fabrics do not contain formaldehyde, which can cause both allergy and cancer (Test: Eurofins Analycen Tekstil Lidköping 2009)

TO BE HANDLED WITH CARE
The garments are to be washed at 40 degrees C using a mild detergent suitable for wool and silk. Not to be tumble-dried. We also recommend that you turn garment inside out before washing.

We get a lot of comments from children. They think Lilleba is the softest you can imagine against the skin.
